Happy World Elephant Day! World Elephant Day is a holiday I am so excited to write about each year, and I absolutely love spotlighting these majestic, beautiful creatures. In case you missed my last posts in 2019, and 2020, you can check them out using the hyperlinks!
This year, I'm highlighting five social media accounts you should be following this World Elephant Day. These accounts can help you educate yourself on the various ways elephants are being threatened in the wild, while also learning more and retweeting. These may be organizations that are specific to World Elephant Day or have posts that bring up important issues. With each account will also be reasons to follow them and why I like these accounts.

- Help Save the Vaquitas!
- Vaquitas are critically endangered, with some scientists estimating only 10-15 left in the wild. This number is decreasing with the number of fishing accidents that happen, and we have to help! To learn more, read my post on vaquitas to gain insight and learn about websites that can help you contribute to their cause here.
