5 Ways to Save the Planet Right Now!
Hi everyone, and welcome back! As promised, I'm back with another post about how to help pitch in and do your part for the world during these times.
A quick thank you to all the doctors, nurses, grocery stores, post offices, epidemiologists, deliver-ers, etc. that are risking their lives so we get help! The world might have seemed that it all suddenly stopped, but for these people, life is just pushing them harder. Every day they get up and work to help the world.
So let's help the world, too! Earth Day is coming up (Happy Early Earth Day!) so I thought I'd share 5 ways you can help save the world from your computer.

1. Donate to the Animals!
You probably guessed this was going to be an option. Animals are important creatures. We're animals as well, but not many people realize this. Donating to National Geographic can help in so many ways! Here are just a few reasons to donate, listed on their website.
In case you want to donate someplace else, there are plenty of options on this site.
2. Right Now, Doctors Need Help
Help CDC's (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) Foundation's Coronavirus response! Click here to learn more about their cause and donate!
3. Not Sure Which Cause? This Site Has Many To Pick From!
Global Giving is a great website to get started in giving back. See projects and help donate to those in need, from a plethora of different causes.
4. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a great cause to donate to! They are located in the United States. They help patients so they never have to worry about their cost for their care. Click here to donate. They are one of my personal favorites!
5. Like All Electronics, You Need to Turn Off Your Unattended Computer
A computer left open is a computer draining battery, and a computer draining battery is a computer that needs to get charged. The more time you leave your computer unattended instead of shutting it off is adding not only more to your electric bill but also really helping the planet!
So that's it for this post! I hope you realize that there are many ways to save the planet by a click of a button (or even turning off the device you use to click that button). The world needs help in dire times like these, and I urge you to contribute to all these beautiful organizations ready to help out.
