A Little Dessert Twist - Animals in Different Perspectives (#4)
Hi, and welcome back! Since parties are kicking up and the summer heat is sizzling, I thought I'd do a twist on an Animals in Different Perspectives post. Instead of something like animals as dessert, I thought I'd do a post on animals on dessert! These might be simple hints or decoration animals, that make food a little more exciting.
So buckle up as we kick off on a summer themed: Animals in Different Perspectives- Dessert Twist.
1) Bunnies, Chicks, and Sheep Toast- Hello, Yummy
These toasts, made by Agnes Hsu, look absolutely adorable! Along with being a light and fun snack or breakfast, they invite the chef for thinking inventively to represent a 3D creature 2D with edible decorative material. Though these are actually Easter Toast, making them any time would surely light up a hot summer day.

2) Owl Cookies- Taste of Home
These cute cookies, by Starlette Howard, are ooey gooey peanut-y goodness! The Hershey kisses provide an extra pop to the peanut cookie, and are I really liked the way their ears were shaped. With a nice tall glass of cold milk, cookies couldn't make any day feel bad.

3) Fruit-y Bugs- Crafting Chicks
Want to spice up the appearance of your fruit? Just look at what Laura did making a little fun with fruit and celery! She took some grapes, cherry tomatoes, and celery by adding some eyes and accessorizing them to become bugs to enjoy. Fruit and celery is even better in the summer decorated!

4) Worm Dirt Cups- Shari Blogs
I always remembered eating these when I was little- dirt cups! They require few ingredients and taste delicious when you grab a nice big scoop. They look like worms in dirt, because of the gummy worms and the appearance of the cookies, but taste absolutely delicious!

5) Animal Crackers
Looking for a easier way to incorporate animals in your dessert? Just grab a few animal crackers from the nearest grocery store and your ready to go! These crackers have been around for years, and now there are many variations. You could even decorate the cracker by adding animal features, I just don't know how it tastes yet :)
I hope you enjoyed reading about incorporating animals into your dessert! Use these recipes to whip up a quick and easy solution for your cravings of dessert, and have fun decorating them! Though it isn't the same experience as playing with a real life animal, playing with a cracker is the next best thing if your looking for something to do on a hot summer day in July.
Stay tuned!
